Deb Howard has her beautiful textile Art hanging in the Mayor’s office!
It’s time for the January installation of new artwork in Mayor Heather Graham’s office
through a partnership with Pueblo Arts Alliance to showcase rotating local artwork and
promote talented artists in our community. Deb Howard is a Textile Artist.
Deb grew up in Pueblo and graduated from SCSC (now CSU Pueblo). Following
graduation, she taught in elementary schools for 46 years. She has entered her art
quilts in several regional and national quilt shows and been honored with many awards.
Her goal is to introduce the community to art created with fabric because it is not just for
clothes and quilts anymore!
Her work is featured at Steel City Art Works along with other regional shows and galleries.

Congrats to Dr. Heather Pilage for dedicating yourself to education and earning your Doctorate!!
